Snowy White - Who's that Guy?

It must be something I have with underrated musicians. An obsession. Or maybe my favourite musicians are very special. So special that only a few know about them. Snowy White is indeed an underrated, a hidden musician. Plays the guitar, composes, writes lyrics and sings. He's the emotional type of artist who's usually into the Blues and tends to sing about extreme pain, love and passion (those stereotypical emotional situations). Doing it uniquely. That's why I like his music.
You can't break my heart - Once damage has taken place, the damaged elevate to the next level. Might be a scary, hard time or just a refreshing change.

Bird of Paradise - This is his main hit. You will probably not know Mr White, but somehow this tune must sound familiar. It is indeed a crying song. But with a very good guitar solo. As always with Snowy.

Can't find love - By listening to the tunes he comes up with, one can easily assume that Snowy's life is very well correlated with Rory's (Gallagher). In terms of personal relationships always. Just a guess. Nice song by the way. Goes down after a burst and then suddenly kicks back in. The guitar I mean.

Highway to the Sun (with Chris Rea) - I love this tune. The way it starts, the way it evolves, the pace, Rea's slides, everything. OK, lyrics are not very special, but there you go, you cannot have everything in one song. Unless, you're listening to Pink Floyd cheats all the time.

Midnight Blues - His best song. For me. By far. The most sentimental one. The most bluesy one. The most touching one. For me again. And for my friends. If you managed to come to this page and didn't click on this tune, then you just missed your chance to listen to the best 'Midnight Blues' song ever. Leaves the popular, homonymous song from Gary Moore miles away. Put this on, take your real or imaginary guitar and start playing along its lines.

Land of Plenty - I call this a typical modern blues song. Tries to pass a message. However, we all know this message. That's why in this song, I like the guitar solo. Again.

The time has come - Nicely expressed emotion (that didn't sound very well) escorted by Snowy's characteristic guitar sound. Simply put, one of his best songs.

Dark and Rolling Sea (live with Al Stewart) - You know Al Stewart (Year of the Cat?). This is his song. I like it and, of course, White's intervention.

Bird of Paradise & Black Magic Woman (2004 version) - A refreshing version of his best hit followed by a remake on the very popular Fleetwood Mac tune. Not to be missed. Volume UP is totally recommended.

Good Question - Good questions usually are left without an answer. But this is an instrumental song and all we are left with is assumptions.

Blues on Me - Blues on Him, Yellows on Her and so on. You have the Blues, you don't need anything else. Pure bullshit.

Slabo Day (with Peter Green) - Wow. Peter Green's name is included. Therefore assume quality and it will be delivered. I think this version together with Blues Wire's remake are the best ones for this song.

Another Brick in the Wall Part II Guitar Solo - Snowy has been a guitar player for Roger Waters in many occasions (and for the original Pink Floyd band sometimes). This solo is just unreal.

The Thrill is Gone (remake, first half of the clip) - A remake on BB King's creation. With crystal clear sound. Awesome.
