I am Bill (or Vassilis or officially Vasileios) Lampos.

After graduating from the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department, University of Patras, Greece, I joined the Computer Science Department, University of Bristol, UK for the MSc in Advanced Computing - Internet Technologies with Security.

Now, I am a PhD student there (where?) under the supervision of Prof. Nello Cristianini. The current topic of my research is "Inferring geolocated information from free text using Graphical Models".

I am a member of Pattern Analysis and Intelligent Systems Research Group, Machine Learning and Biological Computation Research Group and PASCAL Network.
